Aulostomus strigosus

An unusual fish with a long body marginally fatter than the long head and narrow striped tail. They can be seen swimming lethargically anywhere, often in a vertical position and alone. Their colour varies from fawn to tan.Juveniles can be seen occasionally. One was very thin and small (20-23cm) but the same shape, vertically striped in orange and dark brown.
